I just put this board in my favorite old Vostro case, which isn't really designed for high-amperage gaming. If you put this board in a better gaming case with bigger fans, that issue should disappear. The only weird thing I ever notice is that under heavy gaming, the rear exhaust fan revs up to jet-en gine loud intermittently for about ten seconds and then throttles back to normal for about a minute and revs again. All I'm using is just 8GB of super-generic Hynix DDR3-1333 CL9. I'm getting 60-80 fps gaming at 4K and the CPU and RAM are just fine with all that.
